ULAANBAATAR CITY TOUR
This tour will take you to the best destinations in the capital city of Mongolia, with the aim of providing you with a deeper understanding of the country’s past, present, and future. You will get to visit a nomadic yak herder family in the peaceful landscapes of Terelj National Park, and a Buddhist monastery that houses the tallest indoor statue in the world, among other highlighted stops.
Our Marvels of Gobi tour takes you to see the beautiful Vulture Valley, the magnificent Flaming cliff and White Stupa, and the magical Singing sand dunes – Khongoriin Els. Located at the end of the mighty Altai mountain range, the Gobi desert is home to a variety of wildlife including two-humped wild camels, Mongolian wild asses, bearded vultures, Gobi bears, snow leopards, and newly introduced yaks.
Buddhism is practiced by more than half of Mongolia’s population. By the beginning of the twentieth century, Mongolia had 583 monasteries which controlled almost 20 percent of the country’s wealth and about one-third of the male population were monks. Almost all Mongolian cities have grown up on the sites of monasteries. We will take you to the most important buddhist sites during this trip accompanied by a certified English speaking yoga instructor and professional certified tour guide to practice basic yoga and meditation in the morning and evenings in the endless steppe while learning deep about culture, tradition and history Mongolia.
LAKE KHUVSGUL HiKING TOUR
