About us

Who we are?

As a group of private tour guides and drivers with a shared passion for travel and adventure and experience working in the tourism industry for more than 10 years, we created Mongolian Adventures to provide sustainable and responsible travel experiences in Mongolia that connect people through learning, exploring, understanding, and sharing. We understand the impact that tourism can have on fragile regions, which is why we take great care to minimize any negative effects and promote positive outcomes that benefit the local communities and the environment. Through small to medium-sized group travel, we offer personalized and immersive experiences that create memories to last a lifetime. We also encourage our travelers to share their skills and knowledge with the local community, making our trips more meaningful and fostering strong relationships between people. Our past successes, like arranging medical attention for a sick girl through the generosity of one of our travelers, inspire us to continue our mission of bringing people together.

Why choose us?

We strongly believe that having professional tour guides is essential for an enjoyable, educational, and respectful experience. All of our tour leaders and guides have been trained under the Mongolian Professional Tour Guides Association with at least 6 years of experience working in this field and equipped with vast knowledge about the culture, customs, and history of the country. Furthermore, our guides are trained in first aid and can provide assistance in case of emergencies.

In addition, our tours are powered by the most experienced and friendly drivers in the industry. They possess unparalleled expertise in navigating diverse terrains, including the endless steppe, wetland, Gobi desert, and rugged mountain trails. They are the backbone of our tours, ensuring that you have a safe and enjoyable trip.

Last but not least, our tour leaders and guides, all team members all are committed to ensuring that you have a positive impact on local communities and the wilderness. We are proud to challenge perceptions and raise awareness through low-impact experiences and ethical business practices, including our contribution and donation towards local communities.

Our tour manager and guide, Otgontuya, has volunteered as a conservation scientist at WSCC of Mongolia for two years. Her work is focused on conserving the fragile and unique wetland ecosystem in arid Mongolia. We firmly believe that by preserving the beauty of our current landscapes and biodiversity, we are able to pass on this unique system to future generations.

We are pleased to announce that we will be donating 5% of our profits from our Wildlife and Bird Watching Tour in Eastern Mongolia to a conservation organization. The funds will be used to support their ongoing projects that will have a positive impact not only on the local community but also globally. If you would like to contribute, please visit their official website to show your support.

As we face a rapidly changing world, our nomadic traditions is slowly disappearing. Hence, we believe that by educating the next generation about our unique culture and traditions, as well as providing them with scientific knowledge, we can work towards preserving our environment and heritage. To help achieve this goal, our tour guide volunteers as a counselor for the Junior Ranger Program, which is organized by the Mongol Ecology Center, a local NGO that shares our passion for conservation.

We are pleased to be donating 5% of our profits from our spiritual tour in Central Mongolia to the Mongol Ecology Center NGO. If you are interested in supporting their work, please visit the link below to learn more about their meaningful and amazing initiatives.
